We talk a lot about the important role that friends, cousins, grandparents and, of course, parents have in the education of children. But what about guys? They also fulfill an essential role for the smallest of the family. Between aunts and nephews you can create an unforgettable relationship that contributes a lot to your children's learning and self-esteem.

A child does not have to love you for the mere fact of being your son or because you are his father or mother. For a child to love you, you have to deserve it. This fact we forget more frequently than we think, we think that we have certain rights over a human being, just for the sole reason of having engendered him or having brought him into the world.

When a child does not speak or speaks little, interactions are not always easy and spontaneous. The child has less initiative to communicate and parents get anxious, leading us to situations where we screw up instead of creating an atmosphere that favors communication. We want them to tell us, to answer our questions and without realizing it we stop communication with our son.

& 39; Don't jump on the couch & 39 ;, & 39; Don't put your feet on the table & 39 ;, & 39; Don't put so much food in your mouth & 39 ;. The word NO is the word that I use the most, despite myself, in my vocabulary, especially when I'm at home with my daughters. And I don't like it, because I have the feeling that as I walk through the door, I become a dictator rather than a happy mother to be with her little ones.

Children are sponges that capture, even if they do not understand it well, even the smallest detail that happens around them. For this reason, even when they are very small, as parents and adults we must take care of language when there are children in front of them. What can happen if we don't? Somewhat embarrassing situations like the one that I am going to tell you about and that I experienced a few days ago in the first person with my little girl.
